# Sections

> The blocks your storefront pages are built from

Pages are built from sections. Add them from the sections panel, reorder them in the canvas, and edit whatever is selected in the property panel.

Sections carry style presets and theme colours, so changing the theme restyles the whole site rather than each section one at a time.

## Commerce

These pull live data from your store - no content to copy across, and nothing to keep in sync.

## Layout and media

## Generating sections with AI

Rather than starting from an empty section, you can describe what you want and have the builder generate it, or select an existing section and give it an instruction to rewrite.

AI work is billed in tokens from a balance shared across your stores, shown in the builder as you work. If it stops responding you're either out of tokens or there's a temporary service issue - the message says which.
