# Add License Keys

> Appends delivery items to a variant.
Requires the `stores.products.update` permission.

<Note>
  On a variant using **Calculated** stock, the number of keys loaded here *is*
  the stock level - adding keys is how you restock, and an Undeliverable order
  can be retried with [Deliver](/api-reference/endpoint/orders/deliver) once
  stock is back.
