# Buy Stock

> Buys units up front, at whatever volume price the supplier offers for that quantity, and puts
them on your own product as ordinary stock. Nothing is held or pending: the units are yours, they
sell through your normal delivery, and nothing the supplier does afterwards takes them away.

If the supplier delivers fewer than were bought, the difference is refunded to your balance
    rather than quietly kept.
Requires the `stores.reselling.update` permission.
